Sunday, June 26th, 2016 is a gathering to commemorate the history of the Texas Panhandle during the 1874-75 Red River War Campaign and to honor our Native Amaerican and U.S. Military culture.
Monday will be a collaborative strategy workshop for interpretation, education, and promotion benefiting museums, sites, and communities within the Red River War region.
Sunday afternoon/evening about 5pm-9pm, tour to the Fort Elliot Marker, Indian Blessing chuckwagon dinner & storytelling by moonlight.
Monday, June 27th, 2016 9am-2pm Strategy Workshop Old Mobeetie Jail Museum Visitor Center
You MUST register by June 10th to have dinner on Sunday or partcipate in the workshop on Monday.
Cost: $50.00 for both days, includes 2 meals & supplies. OR $15.00 for Sunday only: $35.00 for Monday only.
It is recommended that all participants to Sundays event bring your lawn chairs, blanket and sweaters
